Show Barrel racers to take part in Duchesne rodeo Suzzanne Fausett pocketed first place in the open barrel race at the Fausett Arena on August 13 with a time of 18 40. Cindy Young placed second and third with time of 18.72 and 18.73. Joan Reidhead netted fourth place with a score of 19.32 and Cassie Allen picked up first place honors in the novice barrel race with a time of 22.34. Bobette Warren garnered first place in the pole bending with a time of 22.03 and Cindy Young netted second place at 22.41. Fausett placed third at 22 43 and Jo Workman captured fourth place at 22.94. Iori McNeill won the goat tying event at 10 94 and Young placed second al 13.26. Warren pocketed third place at 16.80. Lori McNeill captured first place in the barrel race and in the pole bending event with times of 17.51 and 21.79. Young placed second in the barrels at 17.56 and Dixie Allen netted fifth place with a time of 18.10. Workman placed second in the pole bending event at 23 66 and Dixie Allen netted fifth place at 23 92. Dixie Allen collected first place in the second go and first place in the average in the barrel racing event at the Price Hodeo, August 8 and 9. She also placed fourth in the first go. Warren picked up a first place tie in the open barrel race at 18.37 and placed first in the pole bonding event at 22.14. Fausett placed second at 22.16 and Workman netted third at 22.72. Young placed fourth at 22.94. Allen tied with Warren for first place in the open barrel race at 18.37 and Fausett netted third place at 18.45. Marie Bolton placed fourth at 18 61. Marcic McNeill gained first place in the novice race at 18.60 and Mauna Huxford placed second at 19.64. Young placed first in the goat tying at 11.27 and Warren placed second at 14.46. The Duchesne County Fair and Rodeo is set for August 22 and 23 in Duchesne. |
