Show Arcadia child drowns Sunday An Arcadia child drowned Sunday in a septic tank near his home. Ouray McCook III, 3, was found in the tank by his mother, LaDonna Hendricks Hen-dricks who tried to rush the victim in her car to the Duchesne County Hospital, Roosevelt. The frantic mother was stopped for speeding by Utah Highway Patrol Trooper, Al Christensen who radioed for an ambulance and tried to revive the boy. Deputy Sheriff Gary Ivie and Roosevelt policemen Tom Reynolds and Mack Vincent assisted in the attempt at-tempt to save the boy's life. He was pronounced dead at the Roosevelt hospital. Investigators worked Monday to determine how the boy fell into the septic tank. |
