Show DENTAL CLINIC Mayor Rey Lloyd Hatt, Councilman Ed Miller and President of Chamber of Commerce Ted Ekker drove to Castle Dale on Wednesday to meet with the County Commissioners Commission-ers about a Dental office of-fice for Green River. The decision has finally fin-ally been made to add a dental clinic to the Medical Me-dical Center. Several other locations have been discussed, and the clinic is now located in the Bank Building, but no satisfactory satisfac-tory housing has been available av-ailable for dental offices. Emery County Commissioner Com-missioner Gardell Snow met with the City Council Coun-cil and other interested parties, including representatives repre-sentatives from the State Board of Health, in Green River a month or so ago and went over the addition addi-tion of a dental office to the Medical Center. Local Lo-cal builders were asked to draw up plans, and funding was suggested. At the meeting in Castle Dale this week, it was suggested that the County pay $200 a month for the facility, and that me nrst .:, uuu dc maue available immediately and the same amount next year. The remaining funds will come from the City or Medical Center Committee. Furnishings come from Federal funds, and are already available. By combining with the Medical Center, several facilities and services can be used by both groups, which will mean a substantial savings 'throughout the years. Councilman Ed Miller will be in charge of the program, and it is proposed pro-posed to start building the annex as soon as the contract is signed. Wayne Shirley, Hyrum Noyes, Scott Shirley, Mike Johnson and Mark Mulford joined the Wayne High Basketball team for a pre-season game with Park City last weekend. Their next game will be with Piute on December 1st. . John Johnson has been awarded a fencing contract con-tract in Bickncll near the Delceuw place. The contract con-tract was awarded by the BLM. Wtalher permitting he will have it finished by late Dec. Mrs. Connie Palmer and son. Bill, have moved into her grandmother, Nettie Noves, home and Mr. and" Mrs. DeLoy Stewart and family have moved into the Fold Weber apartment. Word was received here of the death of Norma L. Blackburn, former resident re-sident of Wayne County and past county recorder and State Bank of Wayne Employee at an Ogden Hospital. She was born March 4. 1922 in Teas-dale Teas-dale to Edgar and I la .el Brown Larsen. She was married to H a w 1 i n s Blackburn Nov. 2 1915. She is survived by her husband, daughter, Mrs. Lee I). Slate Road survey crew working on the new bridge across the Dirty Devil River Junction are looking look-ing for housing in Hanksville. Hanks-ville. The bids are out for this job and should be let by middle December. |
