Show Academy Bids . Open to H.S. Seniors High school students interested in attending the United States Air Force Academy should plan their programs while they are still in their junior year, according to Major Orrin Selman who is the Academy Liaison Officer in Southeastern Utah. High school scholastic records, such as grades and rank in class, are considered important by the Academy selection board. A student's progress pro-gress toward leadership each year, determined by his participation in extracurricular ex-tracurricular activities, is also an important factor, fac-tor, said Major Selman. Many high school students stu-dents find it helpful tc take one of the college testing programs during i their junior year. The i Academy accepts either the College Board Admissions Ad-missions Testing Program Pro-gram or the American College Testing Program the liaison officer said.
