Marks -berry, a junior, helped the Devils to their first win of the season and their first win at home with good defense and strong offense. Marksberry blocked shots and dominated the boards for the home town Red Devils. Devils Set for Carbon Tourney The Red Devils of Moab again take to the road as they travel to Price this Friday and Saturday. The Del Ford led chargers, char-gers, winners at home this past week, will be the fourth team in a tournament tour-nament at Carbon High School which will also be including Tooele, Grand Junction, Colo., and Carbon Car-bon High School. Moab will be the smallest school in the tournament and will face some pretty stiff competition. The Devils will be playing play-ing the third and fourth games on the road in the young season and return to Moab the following m week against Cortez, Colorado. Co-lorado. Carbon High School, usually a real tough contender, con-tender, will be favored to win at home when they meet Grand Jet. on Friday Fri-day night, with Tooele and Moab playing the other game. The winners of Friday encounters will meet again on Saturday with the losers also meeting. |
