Show Emergency System Formalized By Mental Health Center The staff members of the Four Corners Mental Men-tal Health Center in Mo-ab Mo-ab are pleased to announce an-nounce that a new system of coverage for mental health emergencies went into effect as of December 1st. Anyone requiringas-sistance requiringas-sistance for mental health emergencies occuring after af-ter office hours (8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) should contact con-tact Allen Memorial Hospital, Hos-pital, 259-7191 and ask for the mental health staff person on call. The hospital hos-pital will then contact the on-call mental health staff person, who will then call back the party requesting re-questing assistance, according ac-cording to psychiatrist Richard E. Shanteau M.D. This system will be in effect around the clock, seven days a week. Typical Typ-ical mental health emergencies emer-gencies include suicide gestures or threats, violent, vio-lent, uncontrolled behavior beha-vior which is dangerous to others, drug withdrawal withdraw-al or acute intoxication problems, and severe out - of - control family fights.
