Show PROMINENT S. L. : MAN DIES IN S. F. Marcus M. McCune, 49, son of the late Alfred W. and Elizabeth McCune, died Monday In St. Luke's hospital in San Trandsco, according accord-ing to word received In Salt Lake ' City Tuesday. Mr. McCune was taken 111 recently In Florida and was rushed by plane to San Francisco Fran-cisco for medical treatment. A native Salt Laker. Mr. Mc-- Mc-- Cune was graduated from Columbia Colum-bia university, where he studied mining engineering. He lived in many parts of the world as a practicing prac-ticing metallurgist and mine operator. op-erator. The McCunes were one of Utah's prominent families and evere leading lead-ing music patrons. The McCune School of Music and Art was a gift of the McCune family to the cultural life of the city and sute. Mr. McCune Is survived by his widow and a small daughter; three ' sisters. Mrs. Raymond Naylor. Mrs. J. A. fcuealey and Mrs. Rex Prow-er, Prow-er, all of San Francisco, and a brother. Raymond McCune of Paris, France.
