Hemming, 23, of 438 Westminster avenue, was reported In fair condition and Mist Elaine Knowlden, 21, of 818 Lake street, was said to be "fairly good." James L. Walker, 22, of 646 Fifth East street, waa treated at St. Mark'i hospital for minor injuries, then sent home. According to Traffic Investigators Investiga-tors F. Clark Sanford and L. W. Peiroe, the accident occurred lust Inside the Salt Lake City limit when a machine driven north on Beck street by Walker collided with a southbound machine driven by Hemming.
