NEW DEAL FAIL'S 1 TO GETAFL NOD CINCINNATI, Oct 10 (JTi The American Federation of Labor convention voted nonconcurrence today with a resolution calling for Indorsement of President Roosevelt Roose-velt and the new deal. Without debate or the tumult that attended previous discussion of the Roosevelt administration, the convention upheld a resolutions committee finding that the federation federa-tion could not give the "blanket Indorsement" called for m the resolution res-olution submitted by the Connecticut Connecti-cut State Federation of Labor. In the voice vote on the committee's com-mittee's recommendation for non-concurrence non-concurrence there appeared to be a close - division of "syes" and "nays," and AFL President William Wil-liam Green ruled the vote supported sup-ported the committee.
