Show Miss Anderson To Be Feted At Many Parties Miss Marjorie Anderson of Garfield Gar-field told her friends Sunday about her approaching marriage to Donald Don-ald G. Foot of Magna on October 24 and already parties are being planned to honor her right up until un-til the day of the wedding. She's the dsughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Anderson of Garfield, and Mr. Foot's parents are Mr. and Mrs. T. Bert Foot of Nisgsra Falls, N. Y. The first party will be given Thursday evening by Miss Msrjorie Msr-jorie Anderson, 1488 Ninth East street, and Miss Lois M. Swing, 1404 East Seventeenth South street, at the letter's home. Friday evening the bride-to-be will be honored st a party to be given by Mrs. Lawrence D. Anderson, 63 Eighth East street, and on Saturday Satur-day a "brunch" will be given for her by Miss Virginia Ensign at the University club. Sundsy Miss Barbara Shaw Is entertaining with breakfast at her home In Ogden. Next Tuesday Miss' Anderson will go to the home of Mrs. Lloyd H. Munden in Garfield for a party honoring her and on October 20 Mr. and Mrs. J. Fred Dsynes will give dinner party at their home, i.Kt Harvard avenue, lee both-Mlns both-Mlns Anderson and Mr. Foot. The last party scheduled so far Is a luncheon on October 23 at the Hotel Utah to be given by the members of a club of which the bride's mother Is a member. The engsgement of-the couple was announced when Mrs. Anderson Ander-son entertained with a tea Sunday afternoon at her home. A Dresden theme was carried out In the decorations deco-rations and relatives and close friends of the bride assisted. Miss Anderson, a graduate of the University of Utah, Is a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority, Apmin and Beta Delta Mu. Mr. Foot, who attended Syracuse university, uni-versity, Syracuse, N. Y, was graduated grad-uated from the Colorado School of Mines. He Is a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon frsternity. |
