Show CHAMP HOLDS 1 17-POUND EDGE OVER RING FOE DETROIT. Sept. 20 (AP) Joe Louis, world heavyweight champion, had a 17-pound weight advantage over Bob Pastor, Pas-tor, the challenger, when they 'weighed in today for tonight's title fight. Louis scaled an even I 200 pounds and Pastor 183. The fighter weighed in at the Detroit Fair Grounds race track clubhouse. A crowd of about 400 j fight fans, newsmen and photog-raphers photog-raphers witnessed the ceremony. I Louis, attired in black trunks, i was first on the scales. He stopped 1 briefly and extended his hand to I Pastor. They shook, but neither spoke. After the weighing, the fighters went to the race track infield for introductions and brief broadcasts. Plans called for dinner for both men about 4 p. m., after which they were to take naps. They are srhed-i srhed-i uled to arrive at Bilges stadium 1 at 8 p. m. for the title fight. Dr. Clarence Tomsu, examining physician, pronounced both fight- era In normal condition with no indication of nervousness.
