The winners and runners-up will not be announced, however, until It has been determined that they have complied with all contest rules and have supplied negatives of their entries to be used in the Newspaper National awards contest. con-test. The Judges were Jsck Sears, art Instructor at the University of Utah; Paul S. Clowes, art director of the Ad-Craftsmen advertising agency, and J. Y. Tipton, vice president pres-ident of the Gillham Advertising agency. They were aided In making selections se-lections by the voting of visitors st The Tribune-Telegram photo arts show, held In the newspapers' auditorium last week. If winners named by the Judges are found to have met with all contest rules, they will be awarded award-ed prizes of $25 each and their entries forwarded to Washington, D. C, for hanging in the Explorers' Explor-ers' hall and Inclusion in the national na-tional contest for $10,000 in prizes. Judging there will take place October Oc-tober 16. |
