Show Eastern Bankers Here En Route to Seattle Parley A group of 72 bankers arrived ln Salt Lake City Wednesday morning for a sightseeing trip before be-fore continuing to the convention of the American Bankers' associa-' associa-' tion at Seattle, September 25 to 28. Heading the group were Joseph F. Hammond, president of the New Jersey Bankers' association; Hay-ward Hay-ward E. Boyce of the Maryland Trust company of Baltimore. Md.; Mayor Charles D. White of Atlantic At-lantic City, N. J ; O. H. Wolfe, ! e--iler of the Philadelphia National Na-tional bank, and C. B. Axford of I New York City, editor of the I American Banker. During their visit here the group ; heard an organ recital at the L. D. S. tabernacle and lunched at the Hotel Utah. They will leave for Seattle at 8 p. m. over the Union Pacific. Salt Lake and Utah bankers who will attend the convention will leave Friday night ln a special car from the Union Pacific station. sta-tion. They Include Charles L. F. Zimmerman, president of the First National bank of Huntingdon, Hunting-don, Pa. |
