Show Ogden Jockey j Hurt in Spill j LAWRENCE, Mass., Sept. 20 iJft Although doctors reported his condition as "fair," Jockey Dee Packer, 19. of Ogden, Utah, was "too restless" to permit X-rays today to-day of possible internal injuries suffered in a spill in the first race at Rockingham Park yesterday. Packer received a brain concussion concus-sion when Cold Saxon stumbled beneath him in the closing dash of the six furlongs. The mount threw Packer to the track, then rolled over him. Jockey Jim Lynch also was unseated in the pile-up. |
