Show S. L. Churches Will Ohserve National Red Cross Sunday Recognizing the humanitarian service of the American Red Cross, all churches of Salt Lake City will join in observance of National Red Cross Sunday November 7, Adjutant J. S. church to all ward bishoprics and Sunday school superintendents ststed: "The ideals of the Red Cross snd ths services rendered are highly commendsble. We hope, therefore, that the number of memberships taken for 1937 will equal if not exceed that of-any previous year. The -cost of individual membership la $1 per year, or aa much more as a person wishes to give. "It Is true that the church security secur-ity plan, which the people are now making effective, is demanding strenuous efforts from tens of thousands thou-sands of willing workers, yet notwithstanding not-withstanding this fact we feel that the people of Utah and of the surrounding sur-rounding states should willingly cooperate co-operate and participate In the service serv-ice of the Red Cross." |
