OCR Text	Show ARMY OFFICER ENDS AN ILL-SPENT LIFE VANCOUVER, Wash., Nov. 30. Capt. Alga P. Berry committed suicide here today to-day by shooting himself through the heart. He was recently tried by a general court-martial at Vancouver barracks and found guilty of conduct unbecoming an officer and a gentleman. The order for his dismissal arrived yesterday. Brry was a graduate of West Point, class of '90, and was on duty as quartermaster quarter-master of the transport Uufford at the time the charges were preferred against htm. He was a prominent member of the Masonic order, being a thirty-second degree de-gree Mascm and a Mystic Shriner. He left a note bequeathing his property to his wife and mother.
