Conant, whose pitiful piti-ful stAry of want and sickness) was told ' in The Telegram Tuesday, has been removed re-moved from her barren and cheerless room at 854 South Sixth East atreet to , the home of a friend, where her temporary tempo-rary wants are being; supplied. Mr. Conant'a condition became much more grave Tuesday night, and when a physician was called again Wednesday he declared that the hapless woman must be removed at once from her Tf&n to either a hospital, where an operation of the most serious character could be performed, or to a private home, where absolute quiet could be had by the sufferer. A friend who had cared for Mrs. Co-nantt Co-nantt for several months last year im-medfately im-medfately had the sufferer removed to her own home, where every attention is being given her. While Mrs. Conant is In need of quiet and test and care, she is in far greater need of surgical attention and hospital treatment, that will cost at the lowest possible figure $150. For this purpose The Telegram has appealed to the generous gen-erous people of the city for cash subscriptions sub-scriptions to this cause, that the life of the brave little woman may be spared, that- she may continue after a few weelts to labor for and care for her children.
