Show Mackinaw Trout Eggs Placed In Panguitch Hatchery Mackinaw trout eggs from Win-nepeg, Win-nepeg, 150,000 of them, have been placed in the hatchery ponds at Panguitch hatchery, according to Marion J. Madser., superintendent of fisheries from the Utah State Fish and Game Department. The eggs will be hatched for planting in Fishlake. They will be kept in the hatchery until next August, during which time they should attain the length of from four to six inches, Mr. Madsen said, then will be carefully stocked iii shallow areas of the lake, out of the reach of the big fish. The eggs were . purchased from the Department of Mines in Win-nepeg. |
