Show Missionary Sends A Thank You Note The following letter was received this week at the Herald Her-ald office expressing ihe appreciation of a missionary for the home town news. The Herald is sent weekly, without charge, to missionaries in any part of the world, providing their families are subscribers to the paper pa-per and will bring the missionary's mission-ary's address to the Herald office. The letter follows: , York, Pa., Jan. 10, 1948. I want to take this opportunity to give my thanks, belated though they are, to you and the Herald etaff for doing this commendable thing, that of sending the Herald weekly to me and other missionaries. missionar-ies. Every Monday morning, even more so than other mornings, I eagerly await the mailman, for he brings me news of home in the form of the Springville Herald. Before you were sending the Herald Her-ald to me, mother sent several copies several weeks old, but now I get the news hot off the press, much news that mother and friends neglect to include in their letters. It is a noble and commendable thing that you are doing, as it was and is noble that you continue to send the paper to servicemen. Along with others, I want to thank you and wish you prosperity and success in this year of '48, and always. Sincerely, NORMAN L. DUNN. |
