Show 5 Frank Robertson Book Reviewed At Club Meet . i j Members of the Ladies' Literary ! club enjoyed a review of Frank Robertson's latest book, "Boomerang "Boomer-ang Jail," by Mrs. Edward Clyde, at a regular meeting held on Thursday evening of the past week at the home of Mrs. E. T. Cran-dall. Cran-dall. Preceding the review, Mrs. Clyde gave interesting facts concerning the writer and his works, stating that he has had to date a total of 120 books published. Some have appeared in seven languages. Mr. Robertson recently returned from a trip to New Yofk, where he conferred con-ferred with his publishers, E. P. Dutton Co., in regard to "Boomerang "Boomer-ang Jail," which was just off the press in December. The program also included the rendition of two western selections by Miss Cora Gardner on the ac-cordian. ac-cordian. The meeting was in charge of Mrs. Laeelle Sumsion, club vice-president, vice-president, and began with the serving serv-ing of a nicely arranged lunch by the hostess. |
