Show WEST HIGH CADETS ASSIGNED TO UNITS Xew assignment of cadets to companies compa-nies took place yesterday afternoon at the West high school. Ail seniors were as-. slRned to A company. A sufficient number num-ber to complete the company was made up of juniors, while juniors and sophomores sopho-mores were assigned to the three remaining re-maining companies. B, C and D. Temporary Tem-porary appointments of company com-anders com-anders were also announced. First Lieutenant Lieu-tenant Charles Smith is commanding A company in the absence of Captain George Von Elm, Captain D. J. Vincent is commander com-mander of B company. Emral A. Thomas of C company and Captain Ray TVilken-son TVilken-son of D company. Permanent appointments appoint-ments of all commissioned officers are to be made this week, according to information informa-tion given out yesterday. Practically all of the equipment for the use of the West high unit, including rifles and bayonets, has arrived, and as soon as companies are thoroughly organized uniforms will be issued, together with ordnance property. |
