Sealed proposals will be received by the undersigned at the office of the clerk of the board, city and county building, Salt Lake City. Utah, until 12 o'clock noon, Friday. October, 17, 1919, for labor and material required for the contracts for an addition to the Grant school and an addition to the West junior high school buildings, situated, respective', nt 625 South First West street and 233 West First North street. Salt Lake City, Utah. Drawings, specifications and instructions instruc-tions to bidders may be examined at the office of the clerk of the board during the regular hours of each business dav. Drawings, specifications and instructions instruc-tions to bidders may be obtained at and removed from the office of the clerk of the board upon deposits as follows: General contract: First set, a deposit of $25.00; each additional set, J15.0U fee and $25.00 deposit. Heating and ventilating contract, or plumbing contract: A deposit of $15.00; each additional set, 10.00 fee and $15.00 deposit. A contract bond in the sum of fifty per cent (50 per ceut) of the contract amount, executed by satisfactory sureties, will be required. Tho proposal shall be accompanied by a certified che,ck made payable to the undersigned, un-dersigned, amounting to at least five per cent (5 per cent) of the amount of the proposal. The sealed proposals will be opened in public at the office of the board of education educa-tion at 12 o'clock noon, Fridav, October i 17, 1919. |
