Show SPANISH WAR 'VET' HOPES TO 'GO OVER' Hero Who Was Awarded Many Medals for Bravery Tells of His Experience. Ex-perience. Thomas S. Gunn, a veteran of the Rpanisli-Ameriean war, living at 414 j Fifth avenue, Salt Lake City, says he hopes soon to be able to join the colors again and do his bit with the boys "Somewhere in France." Mr. Gunn served with distinction in the trouble in Cuba ami the Philippines during '9S and '99, and is the proud possessor of the following- medals: Spanish-American war; Philippine insurrection, in-surrection, McKinley congressional medal, state of Utah and Eighth army corps, with battleship Maine. He is a member of the firm of Gunn & Dawson, experts in landscape gardening, garden-ing, tree surger', concrete work of all kinds, cement finishing, etc. ' ' I want my old comrades to try Tanlac," said Mr. Gunn, in an interview inter-view recently, "for I know many of them who are down and out like I was, and I am sure it will help them as it has me. I have been afflicted with a number of ailments now for nearly twenty years. In fact ever since I returned from the tropical islands after af-ter the Spanish-American war, I have suffered from gas and pains in my stomach, catarrh of the head and rheumatism. rheu-matism. My food would almost invariably in-variably make me sick and I suffered so much pain from the gas on my stomach stom-ach that 1 could hardly sleep. I had catarrhal pains in my head, a smarting smart-ing and burning of my eyes, and, especially espe-cially when the weather was damp or cold, the rheumatic pains in my .-joints were intense. My food seemed to give me very little nourishment, my nerves were shattered and my health was all run down and broken in many ways. "I was going down hill r"-ht along, and realized I must do something, if possible, to change things about for me. When I sw from the papers that Tanlac, was doing so many others good, I decided to see if it would help me, and, do you know, I began to feel better bet-ter with my first few d,ses. It just seems to fit my case exactly. Gas has stopped forming on my stomach and mv food tastes so good that I can hardly stop eating, and I thoroughly enjoy every meal. The catarrh in my head is so much better that I hardly notice it any more, and I have no rheumatic -ain at all. I sleep like a log every nicrht and get up iu the mornings feeling fine. I can work all day and come home at night ready for a big supper. If I continue to improve as I am now, I hope to enlist with Uncle Sam's fighting fight-ing forces and go 'Over the Top' with the boys 'Over There.' " See that the names of G. F. Willis and the Cooper Medicine company are on each carton. Tanlac is sold in Salt Lake City by Schramm-Johnson, Drugs, under personal per-sonal direction of a special Tanlac representative.
