Show . DIVERSITY HOST x-TO HIGH SCHOOLS Institution Keeps Open House Today; Debates and Iuterscholastic Track Meet Held This Afternoon. This is "High School Day" at the University of Utah. The committee in charge has made arrangements to caro for 1500 visitors. The purpose of the day is to give the out of town students a chance to visit an institution of higher learning and to show those who reside here the facilities and accommodations of the university. Each school of the university has prepared pre-pared an exhibit. That of the school of arts and sciences is in the main hall of the administration building. The engineering en-gineering work will be shown in the physical science building. The English department has posters distributed around the campus with reasons for studying English. The technical courses will be shown mostly by laboratory experiments. ex-periments. At 11:30 o'clock this morning morn-ing the regular assembly will be held, at which President John A. Widtsoe will welcome the visitors, and it is probable that Coach Fitzpatrick will make the athletic awards. At the conclusion of the assembly lunch will be served till 12:30. In the afternoon until the next event at 2:30 o'clock, debates and oratorical contests will take place. At 2:30 the big event of the day will occur. This will bo the state interscholastic track meet. In the evening the big gymnasium will bo the scene of "merriment in the form of a ftPsnce.
