Mrs. W. Mont Ferry, chairman of the women's state executive committee, announces an-nounces that Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock the children of the Eighteenth ward will be. at the "bank" and will sing a Liberty bond patriotic song. At 12 o'clock, at tho "bungalow" bank, the boy scouts will gather and render the "Boy Scouts' Chorus," and there will be speeches. HUNDREDS HEED 'BUY lOTHERJiO'IPPESL Hundreds of Utah's business men have responded quickly and loyally to the president's "buy another bond" appeal, was the report at Liberty loan headquarters headquar-ters at the Commercial club Thursday. It was stated that reports from various vari-ous portions of the state during the day showed a substantial increase in the number num-ber of subscriptions to the third Liberty loan, and that the business men of the city had also been equally patriotic in buying these $50 bonds. The boys of troop 29 held a rousing meeting Thursday night at the Women's Liberty Loan bank on Second South and Main streets. The scouts sold 100 bonds, making the total amount of the subscriptions subscrip-tions obtained by them to date $30,000.
