A wedding of much interim inter-im e?t to the young people of the city tool; place at noon today at the home of Mrs. Joseph W. Bailey, when her daughter, Iinth, was. united ;n marriage to Sergeant Lyles W. Larkin of the base hospital at Camp Kearny. The ceremony was performed by Bishop James Taylor, in the y presence of the immediate relatives of the couple. 3 After a brief honeymoon in Salt La lie City, J the couple will return to Ogden. Sergeant La'r-j La'r-j kia will return to Camp Kearny and his bride 5 will remain in Ogden with her mother. Sergeant Larkin is the sou of the' late George lj W. Larhin, Jr., and grandson of Patriarch fieorge W. Larkin of this city. He was. with I the firm of Larkin & Sons, undertakers, prior to his enlistment In I he hospital corps of the W 145th field artillery when that organization was n known as the First Utah artillery. He was 1 , promoted to a sergear.cy at Camp Kearny. J- Mrs. Larkin is the daughter of Mrs. Joseph : V. Bailoy and is well known among the young a er members of society in the city. She has id been employed by the Ogden State bank for a number of years as bookkeeper and ste-, ste-, . nograpber. |
