Emperor William Is quoted as having said this in an address to a number of members of the German relchstng. according ac-cording to a dispatch to the Exchange Telegraph from Amsterdam, quoting advices ad-vices from Berlin. The emperor said the people must not think that he had decided to remain on the throne at all costs. The dispatch adds that It Is generally believed In Berlin that If the emperor abdicates It will be in favor of Prince William, the eldest son of the German crown prince. |
