STANLEY, wlio lias been offered important post in any one of three important war activities and will proceed to the national capital capi-tal at once to report for duty. W s if ill 1 S llill has made many warm friends and built up a big reputation as a hustler. For a considerable period after his arrival here he was connected with the business department de-partment of The Tribune. Later he was manager of the Mutual Film exchange, and he also exploited a number of feature fea-ture pictures throughout the intermoun-tain intermoun-tain country. Mr. Stanley is a member of the Elks' lodge in this city and has aided that organization or-ganization many times in staging entertainments enter-tainments and accomplishing other big things for which the Salt Lake lodge has been famous. In addition, Mr. Stanley has given much of his time to civic4 affairs, af-fairs, where his ability as an organizer and manager was of great benefit. He also is popular in athletic circles. Mrs. Stanley has been called to Kansas City, the former home of herself and her husband, on account of the illness of her father, and she will remain there until Mr. Stanley is given a permanent station.
