Show H! SPILL ENDS NIGHT'S DIKE MM. Four Riders Dumped; None Seriously Hurt; Farnow and Crebs Winners. Racing at the Bonneville saucer track last night terminated in an exceedingly abrupt manner. The final race, which was scheduled as a two-mile consolation lap race for the amat eurs who failed to compete in the) other amateur events, ended with a bang" when four of the five riders spilled after riding about two laps. The only rider to escape the accident was Bill Ptister, who was riding somewhat behind (he other racers, and as a result had a chance to guide his wheel away from the fallen riders. It all happened when A. Green ig attempted at-tempted to cut under Ray Walker, who was leading, but instead of doing so, caught his pedal on that of Walker's machine, spilli ng both of the riders. A. Olawson. who was rid in? immediately behind them, turned into' the railing aa the top of the track in endeavoring to go around Walker and Greenig, smashing smash-ing the bottom board and sending him headlong down the side of the track. The last dump occurred when B. Batson hit Clawson's wheel as it came down the trade, throwing him from his bicycle. None of the riders was injured to any great extent, although Clawson suffered an injured wrist, besides a few body bruises. The main feature of the card was furnished fur-nished in the team match, wherein Farnow Far-now and Wright rode against Crebs ana Diefenbacher. The former riders won the event, each winning one of the two heats run. In the three-fourths-mile amateur handicap, han-dicap, Earl Seeley finished first, with S. Falkenrafh and A. Hargrove crossing the tape second and third. O. U. Sehmertz carried off the honors In the one-half-mile open amateur, with second and third places going; to C. Sam- uelson and S. Falkenrath.
