Show FOOD ADMINISTRATION MAKES SUGGESTIONS Convention of Utah Canners Will Learn Directions Sent Out by Federal Officers. ! Special to The Tribune. ' OGDISN, Jan. 6. Important decisions by the federal food administration rela- i tivc to the canning- industry for the 2918 ! season will be outlined before members j of the Utah Canners' association at the annual convention in this city next : Wednesday, according to H. L. Herring-I ton. president of the state organization, who has just returned from Washington, D. 0. The Ogden canner was present at a conference of the advisory committee of the National Canners' association with the food administration and representatives representa-tives of the army and navy. The problem as to government supplies for the coming year was thoroughly considered con-sidered at the conference, according to Mr. Herrington. and he will make a complete com-plete report of the proceedings at the1 state convention. The state association' president said most of the matters eon-' sidcreil did not contain anything of pub- j lie interest but that any action by the: Vtah organization would be made public folio-wing the eon vein ion sessions. The annual meeting will -be virtually a two-day two-day session, the canners to take an active ac-tive part in the Ogden section of the manufacturers' state meeting on Thurs-' Thurs-' day of this week. |
