DISTRIBUTION OF SCRIPPS EXTENDED In 1817 the Scripps-Booth oars will be more widely distributed than has over been possible in the past. When this luxurious light ear was first brought out the production was exceedingly limited and the demands from discriminating buyers both at home and abroad so great that a few points of distribution were able to dispose dis-pose of the entire output and then not satisfy the orders. Many high-class dealers who wished to sell" the car had to be refused, and this condition has persisted up to this time. Even though production was increased in-creased as rapidly as possible, the original origi-nal number of dealers were more than able to absorb the increased number of cars made. This condition led to the ambitious plans which culminated some months ago in the erection of new buildings and a general expansion of manufacturing manufactur-ing facilities which more than doubled production. So a selected list of new dealers is being appointed, and in 1917 the distribution distri-bution of the Scripps-Booth car will be extended over considerable more territory terri-tory than haB been possible in the past. In appointing new dealers, the Scripps-Booth corporation is using the same care with which the original dealers deal-ers were selected.
