Show COMMITTEE NAMED ON SPRY RECEPTION Event of Next Tuesday Evening Is to Be Strictly Informal, Declares Chairman Charles Quigley. The reception committee for the dinner din-ner and reception to bo tendered Gov- ernor William Spry at tho Newhuuso hotel next Tuesday night, was an- X) nounced yesterday by the general com- ( mittee in charge of the event. C. A. Quigley was selected chairman of the committee, which includes the following members: T. A. Williams, Br. (J. V. Wilcox, W. T. Pyper, W. G. Tuttle, Joseph V. Smith, George S3. Auerbach, C. B. Stewart and J. U. Eldredge, Jr. Chairman Quigley placed special emphasis em-phasis upon the iact that the affair will be strictly informal, and that women as well as men will be welcome, with or without escorts. The musical programme for the occasion occa-sion will be in charge of Professor J. J. McClellan, who will be assisted by Professor Pro-fessor Willard Weihe, Professor Anthony An-thony (!. Lund and Horace B. Ensign. Dinner will be served at G o'clock, and will be followed by a public reception recep-tion to the governor at 8 o'clock. The general committee already is swamped with applications for reservations, reserva-tions, and delegations from various towns in the state will be iu attendance. Among the delegations from out of town that have already made reservations are those from Logan, Ogden, Park fity, Provo, Midvale and Murray, and it is expected that a delegation will come j from Tooele and Brigham City and pos-t pos-t sibly from Coalville and Morgan. |
