Show PROSPERITY REIGNS IN SOUTHERN UTAH Saxon Official Says That Conditions Are Better Now Than la Years. "Prosperity reigns in the southern' part of the state' said h. E. Eeaney of the Saxon Motor Sales company, no arrived 'In Salt Lake yesterday after an extended trip through the south. "Conditions are better than they have been for years, particularly among the farmers and stockmen," said Mr. Keaney. " No better indication ot prosperity can be had than in the large sales of automobilesj and these people are buying automobiles in large numbers num-bers at the present time." Mr. Eeaney said that the Saxon dealers deal-ers are enjoying the profits of a good year and are jubilant over the outlook for next season. As the farmers in these districts are realizing more than ever the value of a good machine, prospects pros-pects for sales are exceptionally good, Mr. Eeaney said. Some of the uses automobiles are being be-ing put to in the country towns would even surprise the manufacturer if known. It is a usual sight to see a touring car with the tonneau full of milk cans. A laughable incident took place, while Mr. R-eaney was in St. George. A farmer drove up to a store and, depositing de-positing his wife and daughter, drove off.
