Show CHURCH OFFICIALS RECEIVE GREETINGS Letters and Telegrams Come to President Presi-dent Smith From All Sections of the World. Members of the first presidencv of the Mormon church, including President Joseph Jo-seph K. Smith, Anthon H. Lund and Charles YV. Penrose, were the recipients of many messages yesterday wishing them a merry Christmas and a happy New Year. Messages in the form of letters and telegrams were- received from church workers and officials In almost every section of the world. Many messages nnd good wishes were received bv the officials of-ficials from local friends and church I members by phone and ly personal calls. In fact, it Is stated that the flood of grind wishes that poured in upon the officials of-ficials yesterday was so great that the litem hers of the first presidency find it impossible to reply to all of them, so have taken the. occasion, through the newspapers, news-papers, to extend wishes for a merry I Christmas to all.
