KYRONEN FIRST IN YONKERS MARATHON NEW YORK, Dec. 23. Villar Kyronen of Millrose A. C. of New York, w'ho won the senior national cross-country championship cham-pionship two weeks ago, finished first in the Yonkers marathon today. His time for the distance, about twenty-six miles, ten of It on the Empire City racetrack, was 2 hours, 51 minutes and 5S 2-5 seconds. sec-onds. Kyronen finished a mile ahead of Sidney S. Hatch, unattached, of Chicago, Chi-cago, whose time was 3 hours and 26 seconds. James Brooks of the Mohawk A. C, New York, was third, a mile back I of Hatch. Of thirty-two starters, ten finished within the time limit.
