Show MOOT II IS 1MED FOR WARDEN Other Idaho Appointments Also Announced by Gem State Officials-elect. Special to The Tribune. BOISE. Idaho, Dec. 23. Governor Alexander announced today that the members-elect of the state board of prison commissioners had decided to name Frank E. Dekay of Blaekfoot as warden of the state penitentiary to succeed Warden John Snook, who has presented his resignation resig-nation to the board of prison commissioners, commission-ers, effective January 1. Dekay is an ex-sheriff of Bingham county. He will spend the balance of the month becoming familiar with his new duties. At a conference of the executive members-elect. Governor Alexander, Secretary of Stat Dougherty, Attorney General Walters and State Auditor VanDeusen, who constitute a majority of the new state land board, It was decided to name I. A. S-moot of St. Anthony state land commissioner; M. C. Stott of Boise, register reg-ister of the land department; A. F. Parker of Grangeville, state land appraiser ap-praiser for northern Idaho; Mrs. Fred Flood and Mrs. S. T. Schreider, clerks in the land department. Sheriff Stroud of Lemhi county will probablv be named deputy warden of the penitentiary. Miss Ethel E. Redfield, state superintendent superin-tendent of public instruction-elect, has announced the appointment of Miss Carrie E. Plummer of Boise as assistant superintendent.. super-intendent.. Miss Plummer was some years ago assistant clerk of the supreme court. Miss Redfield filed her bond, which was approved by the Governor. It Is also announced that. Harvey All-red, All-red, representative-elect from Bingham county, and Ernest Anderson, renr'i'sen-tative-elect from Canyon countv. will enter en-ter the nice for speaker of the house of representatives against' C.
