".Miss Marjorie Mar-jorie P. Holyoke, the 21-year-old heiress to one-fifth of the $000,000 estate es-tate of her uncle, the late Frank P. Holyoke, a lumber king of Bath, Me., who died in Pasadena in October, 1911, was quietly married to Harold J. Black-more, Black-more, a San Diego automobile salesman, sales-man, at 10 o'clock this morning at the South Park Tbristian church. The Rev. Scott Anderson officiated. Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Blaekmore of San Diego, pa rents of the bridegroom, witnessed wit-nessed the ceremony. The couple started start-ed at once on their honeymoon, which thev will pass in an automobile tour of California. The Holyoke estate, which had been in constant litigation since Holyoke s death, was settle. up laBt Wednesday. Miss Marjorie Holyoke and ber twin siter Madeline were willed the bulk of their uncle's estate. Holyoke 's two sons, who were left small sums, contested con-tested the will and succeeded in breaking break-ing it. A new trial was pending when a compromise was effected by which the Holyoke twins each received one-fifth one-fifth of the estate. |
