Show TO BUILD STOCKYARDS. i Huntavllle Booming Industrial Point on Nw Electric Branch. Special to The Tribune. OGDEN. Aug. 7. Although the line has been open less than two weekB. the livestock live-stock transportation over the Ogden valley val-ley extension of the Ogden. Ixgan & Idaho Railway company has grown to such proportions that stockyards will be erected near Huntsville immediately. The yards, which wilt be located Just north of the Huntsville town boundary, will have a capacity of 10iK) ehcep. according to P. D. Kline, general manager. Preliminary work has already been started and It is expected by the officials that the yards will be ready for use by the middle of next weeic. Although the equipment Is being erected primarily for the loading of sheep, it will be possible to load any other livestock. Mr. Kline reports that other forms of freight transportation trans-portation have developed most satisfactorily satisfac-torily with regard to the new extension. Baled hay is bHng transported to Ogden in large quantities and the company is preparing to handle many carloads of sugar beets and potatoes later in the s.on. Freight loading facilities are being be-ing Installed at Eden as well as Huntsville. |
