The fact that tho building is so close lo tlio cilv limits makes it very desirable for residents outside thn city lo send their children there, but the board of education is of the opinion that it has all it can do to provide sufficient; school accommodations for children inside the city, without caring for county pupils also. Fifteen rooms in the building woro in use on the opening day. but there are several rooms held in reserve for future needs. All of the fifteen rooms wore fully completed and equipped, and the others will bo equipped as soon as needed. Tho grouuds were iu very good condition, and the opening of tho building was highly gratifying to the board members and tho residents of that locality, at any rate. |
