Show HEINZE LOSES A POINT, BUT GAINS ANOTHER NEW YORK. Jan. 24. F. Augustus Holnze lost one point and galnod another today in connection with the pending charges against him for alleged misapplication misap-plication of bank funds. Judge Hough. In tho United States circuit court, denied tho application of the former "copper king" for an order enjoining the government from seeking a new indictment following tho recent quashing of one of the indictments previously found. District Attorney Wise announced ho would make further presentments pre-sentments to the grand Jury. The court then decided that Hclnze must be brought to trial on tho two Indictments still pending. Tho date for the trial was set for March 5. Helnzo asked for a trial as soon as possible. Pleas of not guilty were entered by Arthur Ar-thur P. Hclnze. Sanford Robinson, and others connected with the United States Copper company, indicted for conspiracy lo obstruct the investigation of tho Jlolnzo charges. Their counsel moved for the quashing of this indictment. Decision De-cision was reserved. . |
