The Utah Development league yestcr-Wt yestcr-Wt day announced a photograph competition QE In connection with plans' for the Issti- ancc of a pew and attractive booklet Hi descriptive of the resources and ad van - H, tages of Utah. Prizes aggregating ?100 arc to be given for photographs to be m" used in Illustrating the booklet. There -are two divisions in the com-mm com-mm petition. Like prizes will bo given for I photographs Illustrative of crop produc tion and agricultural opportunities In Utah and for photographs Illustrating the scenic attractions of the state and the pleasures ,to be found In Utah for the summer tourist. Distinctive ana original photographs are especially dc-For dc-For the best photograph In either division di-vision a prize of Jlo Is offered. The second prize In each division Is $10; the third, 13; the fourth. $3; the fifth, $2, and ten additional prizes of Jl each. The photographs are to be sent to Joseph Jo-seph E. Calnc, secretary of the Utah Development De-velopment league, at the Salt Lnkc Commercial Com-mercial club. The league reserves the right to purchase any photograph submitted sub-mitted for HO cents. The prize-winning pictures arc to become the property of the club. The contest Is to close ' on November 1, but It may be extended thirty days. Judges, to be named later will select the prize-winning photographs. |
