Show SCOTTISH CLANS MEET IN BIENNIAL SESSION , BOSTON, Aug. 15. One hundred and fift- delegates, representing nearly every state in the union, as well as Canada, attended tho opening session of the biennial convention of the Order of Scottish Clans here today. Royal Chief John Hill of St. Louis presided. Other royal officers who were prominent in tho session were Royal Tanist S. A. Ballantine of Min-neapolis, Min-neapolis, Royal Counselor A. G. Mc-Knight Mc-Knight of Duluth, Royal Secretary Peter Pe-ter Kerr of Boston, Royal Treasurer David King of Newark, Royal Physician Phy-sician Dr. W. H: Fraser of La Salle. 111., and Assistant Royal Chief W. H. Bteen of Braidwood, 111. Royal degree work was a feature of the opening meeting. A harbor trip to Nantaskot beach was enjoyed later "in I tho day and a shore dinner served. |
