Show AN OLD UTAH MAN DEAD IN NEVADA Special to Tho Tribune. KAYSVTLiLE, Aug. 6. A message waa received at KaysviJlo today stating that John Q. Adams had died vory suddenly at his home In Reno. Nov., on Monday oven-Ing oven-Ing at the ago of 73 years. Mr. Adams was one of tho very first settlers of Kaysville, arriving hero in 1SG0, and going go-ing to JNovada a few years later in tho rush for gold, whero he became very wealthy as a rancher. Mr. Adams and his brother, tho lato Rufus Adams, occupied oc-cupied a very prominent placo In Nevada's Ne-vada's history. Deceased Is survived by a widow and three children. J. F. and R. W. Adamp, both ranchers near Reno, Nov., and Mrs. Lydla Adams, who for 'some- time past has been librarian at the "White Mouse at Washington, D. C. Ho Is also survived by three sisters and three brothers, among them being -Ellas and I-Iyrum Adams and Mrs. John TV. Burton, all of Kaysville. |
