Show CLIMBED TIMPANOGOS FROM THE SOUTHWEST Special to The Tribune, PROVO, Aug. C C. F. Knott and wife and E. B. Yoams of Salt Lake City, who arc rusticating In Provo canyon, with headquarters at the Helselt hotel, are enjoying en-joying and claiming the distinction of being the first to ascend Mount Tlmpa-nogos Tlmpa-nogos from the southwest. They began their climb at Q o'clock Thursday morning morn-ing and arrived at the top of the mountain moun-tain at 2 p. m. In making the ascension the party passed over groat bodies of snow and ice, some of which were genuine genu-ine glaciers. After taking lunch on the highest peak, the mountain climbers ro. turned to the hotel, arriving there at 7 p. m. |
