Show FRENCH AERONAUT IS COMING TO AMERICA NEW YORK. June 30. John Dola-grange, Dola-grange, the famous French aeronaut, whose long-dlstanco aeroplane flights have attracted world-wide attention during dur-ing tho last few weeks, will come to America about August 20. A cablegram has been received from M. Delagrange by A. C. Trlaca, who Is making arrange- I ments for the visit of the French aero- I naut on behalf of tho recently organized I Aeronautic society, stating that he would i come about that time r1 would bo willing will-ing to give exhibition (lights for three days in New York. He stated that he was sending details by letter, and as soon as theso arrlvo the final preparations will bo concluded. It is more than probablo that a series of international Hying contests will be held between Delagrange and G. H. Cur-tlsa Cur-tlsa of Hammondsprt, N. Y., owner of tho "Juno Bug." Mr. Curtlss has Informed In-formed Mr. Trlaca that he will be perfectly per-fectly willing to meot tho Frenchman In such contests. The Wright brothers havo also been asked to meet Delagrange. |
