Wheat opened weak on lower cables and favorable weather conditions and continued heavy almost all day. The feature of the tradp was tho liquidation of tho July delivery, which caused a decline of nearly lc in the prices oi that option and of c in September and December. Decem-ber. Likelihood that receipts of new wheat during the next week or ton da3s will be greatly increased tended to weaken the local market. Tho principal prin-cipal factor of a bullish nature was the Illinois crop report, which showed deterioration of 10 points in condition ' durinir tho past month, although an improved im-proved demand for cash wheat by exporters ex-porters had considerable strengthening influcnco and tended to steady tho wheat market late in the daj'. July ranged between be-tween S-lc and Su''C and closed at Corn was in good general demand and the market was strong all daj'. The market closed strong at almost the highest point. September opened a shade lower, at Vsw'iC higher, at Mc to GOvijC. advanced to 70Jc and closed at 70!Js(n)70?,2rt. July sold between ' liSvt c and G9c and closed ta GOVJc. Oats were strong on active demand by commission houses and shorts. Tho market closed strong at almost the top notch. September opened l&c to e-higher, e-higher, at 38T&C to 3Uc and advanced tu 39 'C, where it closed. July ranged between -lye and -lGc and closed at 45Tjc. Provisions were easy because of the liquidation of holdings of July deliveries, deliv-eries, particularly of pork. At the close September pork was off 5c, lard and ribs were down 2Jc.
