Show CONTACT GIVES MUCH PROMISE OF RESULTS Manager Dunyan of the Commonwealth Com-monwealth Likes Looks of Present Showing. Newton A. Dunyan, manager of several sev-eral Utah and Novada mining properties, proper-ties, among thorn being tho Commonwealth Common-wealth company of Beaver county, loft Tuesday evening for that mine, to make a personal inspection of tho now finds that havo been made recent!'. Mr. Dunyan stated before his departure that tho Commonwealth was looking especially good at this time, for tho reason that results aro' coining on tho 000-foot Jcvel, ..whilo tliocoutact, the point for" which thod'riftva3 makiug and whore tho results aro expected, is fully 125 foet away from tho face of tho drift now showing ore. While this oro is not as rich as it is expected to bo at the contact, it shows by making so far away from tho contact that tho main point itself should give up great results. When asked about tho So ran ton mine at North Tintic, Mr. Dunyan stated that tho management is now making for developments, which, if succcbs follows tho effort, promise to become one of the biggest features of tho property, Tt looks now as if ono drift fully 200 feet lower than auy other work in the mine would break into ore at any time, and Mr. Dunyan is very well pleased with this disclosure. Ho states that the Kinsley mino of Nevada is still pegging away on an ore body which will range from two to fivo foot, in width. Tho oro will averago close to $75 por ton, aud as soon as sufficient tonnage is accumulated the managemont will make arrangements for teams to haul the rock to the railroad rail-road tracks. This is a Salt Lako proposition, prop-osition, and ono that is looking like a winner. |
