Although business was rather slack on Market Row Tuesday, an abundance of everything good in season appeared on all of tho stands. Tho display was representative of every section of tho United States, and also a number of foreign countries. California was represented rep-resented by cantaloupes, watermelons, cherries, oranges, cabbage, caulillowor and lemons, and Texas by cucumbors, tomatoes and watermelons, while from far-off Florida there were exhibited tomatoes to-matoes and grapes. Idaho contributed to tho display with a scanty supply of early Summer apples, ap-ples, and Moapa Valle', New, with peaches, fresh figs, apricots, beets, new Eotatoes and tomatoes. Tho Samoan slands were represented by a limited supply of prunes, the Hawaiian Islands by pineapples and bananas, and Mexico by cocoanuts. Tho homo products consisted of strawberries, straw-berries, raspberries, .blackberries, Loganberries, Lo-ganberries, gooseberries, red currants, cherries, beets, lettuco, new' potatoes, green peas, beans, onions, turnips and parsnips. Strawberries were retailing Tuesday at $1.25 the case, which, according to the dealers, is the very lowest figure at which tho fruit will bo oflcrcd this season.
