Show EPIDEMIC OF MEASLES. One Family Has Diphtheria and Measles Mea-sles Combined. Almost nn epidemic of measles Is raging rag-ing In Salt Lako City. Twelve cases wero reported to the Board of Health yesterday. yester-day. The cases seem to be well scattered over the city. This makes twenty-three cases reported during th last two days. Besides these cases, four of the children chil-dren of Morris IOnnls have, measles and diphtheria combined. The diphtheria la of tho most virulent kind. Their names arc James, Morris. Ellena and Edward. Tho youngest child, a boy 1 yeur and 9 months old, died Monday morning of the disease. This makes practically a total of twenty-seven cases of mcaslcti reported to the health officers this week. There was one other case of illphtherla yesterday. Tho patient Is Bertha, the eleven-year-old daughter of George Mack, 71S East Seventh South. Ono smallpox patient. Stella Williamson, William-son, aged 19, d' West Sixth South, was reported |
