'An act for the relief of purchasers of State lands by legalizing applications heretofore mado for the purchase of such lands and to confirm the title of purchasers thereof The obvious effect of such a law will bo to legalize the gross and extensive frauds which have been perpetrated upon the State of California by Hyde, Lenson and others.
